We tried to combine a few of the most used types of web site and newer technologies and make one web site in order to show you the possibilities that there are out there, as well as using this as a showcase for us in the same time helping you decide what type of web site would suite you best.
- Of course, the first category is a basic CSS or HTML web site with or without any flash enhancements (check our portfolio for examples)
- Second one would be a full-flash web site (check our portfolio for examples)
- Another category is the BLOG and you can see that a simple blog can also be turned into a pretty functional web site, with a showcase and more (see this section of our web site) - as a good example, our portfolio is made using Word Press
- Further more we're talking about an ONLINE SHOP with a shopping cart and a catalog, that can include online or offline credit cards processing, Pay Pal checkout and several other methods of payment - we have built our own shop on top of the Zen Cart platform and you can see it in action here
- A FORUM can always be added to any web site or just be a web site by itself
- Another category is a more powerful CONTENT MANAGEMENT web site, which may include the blog feature, the online shopping feature, picture gallery, forum and much more, all integrated into one front end and administrated from a back end - we have used Drupal as the base for our example but of course there are also other options (like Joomla for example)
You can always opt for one option or combine a couple or more, whatever would suite best for your organization or yourself.
